Background on "The King of Mask Singer":
"The King of Mask Singer" (original title) is a licensed format of the South Korean TV station MBC, which has been broadcast in South Korea since 2015. With nearly 200 episodes, it is a complete success and has already won several awards.
As "The Masked Singer," the format generated mega ratings in the U.S. in January 2019 and was FOX's most successful show reboot since 2011 with 12.3 million viewers. The second round will start in the spring.
In addition to the USA and Germany, "The Masked Singer" will also be broadcast in China, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. In France, the show will soon be realized for the TF1 channel.
