STAGING designs and organizes corporate events and hybrid events
The MMC Group from Cologne is growing: With STAGING GmbH, the group of companies has founded a subsidiary that will in future focus on the planning and staging of corporate events, hybrid events and creative trade fair construction.
"The company name 'Staging' is primarily associated with stage construction as well as with the English word for staging. And this is exactly the bridge we are building with our new company: Not only are we creating space for hybrid events and new trade fair concepts, but we are also using our TV and film expertise in stage and scenery construction to create great stagings for our customers," says Jens Wolf, CEO of the MMC Group.
Staging GmbH uses the proven infrastructure of MMC Studios in Cologne, but also offers the service throughout Germany. Depending on the size of the event, production units of the Group's own outside broadcast service provider Crosscast GmbH are used for hybrid events whose content is also streamed to a digital audience - from flight case production control rooms to large UHD-HDR OB vans.
MMC's own trade show construction is also thematically bundled in the new Staging GmbH. In the past, for example, large stage and trade fair constructions for DMEXCO, CCXP and Gamescom were realized in MMC's own workshops.
Rainer Müller will take on the role of Sales Manager in the future. His tasks include the expansion of corporate events and the development of new products in the field of hybrid events, general event technology and trade fair construction. With his many years of expertise in the sales of events and digital corporate communication, he perfectly complements the team at Staging GmbH and is looking forward to his new task: "In addition to technical and creative implementation, our focus is on a new type of modular event concept: hybrid events and streaming events with an entertainment factor. Thus, we use classic elements from the field of TV entertainment and link them with big brands. This is the key to making a show that lasts several hours attractive and keeping viewers engaged over a longer event. This includes classic interludes such as show openers, show acts with well-known artists, but also, for example, a live band on site. We create a specially developed multi-set in Studio 51 on the MMC studio premises, which is adapted according to the customer's needs. In addition, up to 20 other studios of all sizes are available."
Staging GmbH is a 100 % subsidiary of the MMC Group and is managed by MMC Film & TV Studios CFO Ilya Piontek.
