Cologne's largest charging park for electric mobility

As one of the largest film and TV studio operators in Europe, the topics of sustainability and climate protection are very important to MMC Studios.

 

For this reason, we have invested in our infrastructure in 2022 and are pleased that the largest public charging park in the Cologne city area has been created on the site of the MMC Film and TV Studios. 

Together with our partner TankE, we have created a large offering at the Coloneum that can be used not only by MMC employees, tenants and visitors, but also by the general public.

Direct Payment

Fast, simple and without contract commitment

It's that simple:

  • Scan QR Code

    A QR code is affixed to each charging point, which you can scan with your smartphone. The QR code will take you to a mobile website on your smartphone that lists all the necessary information about the location, the charging point and the valid tariff.

  • Enter credit card data

    On the mobile website, you enter your credit card data. After entering the credit card payment data, the charging process is activated immediately.

  • Start charging process

    You can now start the loading process.

  • Receive invoice by email

    After the loading process is finished, you will receive the invoice conveniently by e-mail.

Payment via app or customer card

It's that simple:

  • Present customer card or start charging process via app

    With us, you are not tied to any one provider. Of course, you can also charge with us via your app or customer card.

  • Start charging process

    You can now start the loading process.

  • Billing via your provider

    You bill as usual via the provider of the app or the customer card.

OUR CHARGE PRICE

€ 0,55 per kilowatt hour
  • one-time start fee per charging process: 0,60 Euro
Please note: We set a duration of four hours per charging process. After the four hours have elapsed, we charge 0.15 euros for each additional minute of idle time.

On request: exclusive use of charging stations

In addition to public charging stations, we also offer you the option of exclusive use of charging stations.

    You receive up to four cards per exclusive charging station to be able to charge several vehicles flexibly.

In total, 74 charging points are available at the Coloneum. 
This makes the Coloneum Cologne's largest publicly accessible AC charging park. 

To put this in perspective, there are around 1,000 publicly accessible charging points in Cologne. This means that over 7 % of all charging points in Cologne are located on our premises.
